While briefing the media about Canada’s novel refugee program at the 2016 Concordia Summit, John McCallum said this program can set an example for other nations to implement a similar model to help refugees settle in their new homes.
“At least 13 countries have expressed an interest in this. That could be one part of the solution for the world at large,” McCallum said at the 2016 Concordia Summit.
