Jabulane A. Mabuza, Chairman of Telkom SA SOC Limited, joins Concordia’s Leadership Council

Concordia is pleased to announce the appointment of Jabulane A. Mabuza, Chairman of Telkom SA SOC Limited, to the Concordia Leadership Council. As the newest member of the Concordia Leadership Council, Mr. Mabuza brings over 30 years of private sector experience to the Concordia community.

As Chairman of Telkom, Mr. Mabuza has played a pivotal role managing a semi-privatized company. This experience aligns naturally with Concordia’s mission of promoting effective collaboration between the public and private sectors. He is widely recognized as a successful entrepreneur.

Mr. Mabuza serves as Executive Chairman of Sphere Holdings. He is also Director of Eglin Investments, Lexshell 627 Investments and has held a number of directorships. Mr. Mabuza is also a Member of the Board of the University of South Africa Graduate School of Business, Chairman of the Casino Association of South Africa (CASA), and the President of Business Unity South Africa (BUSA). 

His international work includes serving on the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) in Washington, D.C. and served at the World Travel and Tourism Council. Mr. Mabuza is also Chairman of the Regional Business Council of the World Economic Forum (WEF). In October 2015, he was awarded Business Leader of the Year at the South African of the Year (SATY) Awards 2015.
