Following Concordia and Miami Dade College's close collaboration on organizing Concordia | The Americas in Miami, Concordia is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón, President of Miami Dade College to its Leadership Council.
As our first Summit on the Americas commences at Miami Dade College in Miami this morning, Concordia is honored to announce that Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón, President of Miami Dade College, will join Concordia’s Leadership Council.
Concordia and Miami Dade College have been working closely together to develop Concordia | The Americas, the first-ever public-private partnership forum of its kind focusing on regional issues. This collaboration, along with the partnership of Americas Society/Council on the Americas and Univision, has brought together over 100 world leaders to discuss pressing issues affecting the Americas.
Therefore, it is our distinct pleasure to welcome Dr. Padrón to Concordia’s leadership community. Listed as one of Times top 10 college presidents in 2009, his extensive experience in academia will be invaluable to Concordia as we expand our international reach. His full bio can be read here.
