Concordia Welcomes John S. Koudounis to The Leadership Council

Mr. Koudounis is the former President and CEO of Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and brings exemplary executive leadership experience in the private sector. During his tenure at Mizuho Securities USA, Mr. Koudounis helped lead Mizuho through a period of substantial growth.

Mizuho Securities USA is a subsidiary of the Mizuho Financial Group and offers clients a broad range of products and market access across Fixed Income, Equity, Futures, Investment Banking and Wholesale Banking. 

Mr. Koudounis served on the Board of Directors of Mizuho Securities USA and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Bretton Woods Committee and a participant of the Group of Thirty. Mr. Koudounis’ philanthropic activities include Board of Directors positions with The Hellenic Initiative and the National Hellenic Museum.  As the newest member of the Concordia Leadership Council, Mr. Koudounis will lend his 25 years of private sector experience to help strengthen Concordia’s mission.
