Dear Concordia Members and Friends,
On behalf of the entire Concordia team, we are excited to announce the implementation of our new Membership program, effective January 17, 2017. Concordia Membership now provides more exclusive opportunities to engage our broader network of global leaders and influencers through our Campaigns, Research programs, and new Programming pipelines which will be announced later this month. Under the new structure, additional fees will apply to the Concordia Europe Summit in Athens and certain supplementary events around our Annual and Regional Summits.
Over the course of 2016, Concordia amplified its reach through the expansion of our programming globally and the launch of our second Campaign for social impact focused on fostering a sustainable global food supply. Building on these accomplishments, 2017 is poised to be a year of strategic growth for Concordia as we expand our unique identity as an action-oriented organization that achieves social impact through public-private partnerships. As part of our continued efforts to reach a wider global audience and drive engagement, we have restructured our Membership benefits by adding even more ways for Members to get involved.
From the ongoing refugee crisis in Europe to political instability in Latin America and beyond, addressing the world’s most pressing challenges requires a renewed commitment for greater collaboration to achieve social impact. Given the magnitude of these issues and the consequent evolution of our growing organization, we have increased the price of Membership to drive deeper engagement with our supporters to address the mounting challenges. While Concordia remains a platform for convening global leaders and changemakers, it is our vision that the revamped Membership program will empower our patrons, individuals, and young professionals to participate in the exclusive Campaign and Research related programming throughout the year. Changes will take effect upon the date of expiration for current Membership and will need to be renewed annually.
