Take The Lead is an initiative developed in collaboration with Mexoxo, eCornell University, the L’Oréal Fund for Women, and over thirty six local stakeholders. The initiative is dedicated to democratizing education for 300,000 underserved women across 155 countries. Its goal is to provide these women with premier educational resources, thereby bridging gaps in knowledge access and unlocking opportunities that can transform their lives and influence the broader economic and civic landscape.
The Take The Lead initiative is guided by three principal objectives. First, it aims to facilitate personal transformation by empowering women at the individual level. This includes enhancing their knowledge, skills, and confidence, thereby laying the groundwork for lasting personal and professional impact. Second, Take The Lead seeks to foster community empowerment by strengthening supportive networks and relationships. This approach is designed to build a resilient support system that enables women to collectively pursue and achieve their goals. Third, the initiative strives to create a significant impact on the broader ecosystem. Through partnerships with a diverse array of institutions, including local NGOs, Universities, and major funders and donors, Take The Lead aims to catalyze change and generate extensive opportunities for women globally.
Looking ahead, the long-term objective of Take The Lead is to extend educational access to five million women in underserved environments globally. The initiative is committed to enhancing the scalability of its efforts and further democratizing access to top-tier educational content, ensuring that an increasing number of women can benefit from this vision.
