Janti Soeripto, President & CEO of Save the Children US, today joins the Concordia Leadership Council.
In her leadership of Save the Children US, Soeripto plays a vital role in driving forward the organization’s efforts to reduce the number of vulnerable children in the world and ensure that they have the tools needed to thrive throughout life. She assumed the role at the beginning of 2020, having previously served as President & COO, a position that required the oversight of all elements of the organization, as well as establishing its strategy.
Prior to joining Save the Children US, Janti worked for eight years as deputy CEO of Save the Children International, where she was responsible for market growth and development, global strategy development, communication, and venture partnerships. Before her Save the Children work, Janti spent three years with Kimberly-Clark, as Country Director in Indonesia. Immediately before this, she was Managing Director for Belu in London, the first bottled water brand in a biodegradable bottle that donates all profits to charity. Prior to this, she enjoyed a 15-year career with Unilever, both in finance and general management, working in the Netherlands, UK, and Singapore.
“Save the Children is an incredibly important partner of Concordia’s, and we’re so proud to be welcoming Janti to our Leadership Council and learning from her extensive experience across the private and nonprofit sectors,” commented Concordia Co-Founders Nicholas Logothetis and Matthew Swift. “As we navigate these challenging times and confront their repercussions on the lives of children and their families around the world, we’re so grateful to have Janti’s wisdom and guidance.”
Upon accepting the invitation, Janti Soeripto commented: “Concordia’s ability to bring together the public and private sectors to confront some of the world’s most complex challenges is now more important than ever. It is a privilege to join the Leadership Council and I look forward to working in partnership with this group of esteemed leaders to help drive transformative change for good.”
