Concordia is deepening its relationship with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), a 2021 Annual Summit Patron Programming Partner.

With a presence in all 50 states, USGLC is dedicated to building a better and safer world through the elevation of development and diplomacy, alongside defense. By advocating for a strong and effective International Affairs Budget, the USGLC works to make America’s international affairs programs a keystone of U.S. foreign policy.

“I’m delighted to be furthering our partnership with USGLC, working with Liz Schrayer and her incredible team,” commented Concordia’s Co-Founder & CEO, Matthew Swift. “USGLC is doing some phenomenal work to strengthen U.S. development, diplomacy, and defense, and this year I’m excited to be elevating one of their recently-launched campaigns.”

In accordance with Concordia’s Democracy, Security, & Geopolitical Risk programming theme for the 2021 Annual Summit, this Programming Partnership will support USGLC’s What’s It Worth campaign. It will also highlight the ways in which members from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors can support civilian-led tools for development and diplomacy. During the 2020 Annual Summit, USGLC participated in the COVID-19 Response & Recovery Concordia Action Alliance programmatic block, highlighting how leadership in the U.S. has impacted the global pandemic response, and how future pandemics can be better prevented.

“USGLC is honored to partner again with Concordia to champion the importance of America’s engagement in the world, especially when heads of state come together for the U.N. General Assembly,” said USGLC President & CEO Liz Schrayer. “As the global pandemic continues, the answer to “Foreign Aid: What’s It Worth” has never been clearer — to advance our own health and economic recovery at home, the U.S. must continue to lead the world in the COVID vaccine supply distribution and delivery.”
