The Rwanda Development Board joins Concordia as a 2021 Principal Programming Partner

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is a government institution mandated to accelerate economic development in Rwanda by enabling private sector growth. The organization actively works to transform Rwanda into a dynamic global hub for businesses, investment, and innovation. RDB’s key service areas are investment promotion, tourism and conservation, export & SEZ development, investment deals negotiation, and skills development. 

Building on a partnership that first came to fruition in 2020, Concordia is welcoming back RDB to its community as a 2021 Annual Summit Principal Programming Partner. This partnership seeks to showcase Rwanda as a global partnering entity working to drive progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. 

“We’re fortunate to be partnering once again with the RDB, which will share its expertise on the importance of pan-regional and international public-private cooperation for innovation, connectivity, and economic growth at this year’s Annual Summit,” commented Concordia’s Co-Founder & CEO, Matthew Swift. 

In accordance with Concordia’s Global Trade, Manufacturing & Supply Chains programming theme at the 2021 Annual Summit, this partnership will explore the African continent’s innovations in the manufacturing & logistics areas, and discuss how proper infrastructure development is critical to ensuring long-lasting economic progress in the region.
