Concordia is pleased to announce that Raul F. Salinas, Managing Shareholder at AlvaradoSmith, has joined our Leadership Council. Salinas has over 35 years of experience practicing law and has advised and represented entities around the world.

Throughout his legal career, Salinas has demonstrated effective, practical problem-solving and crisis management skills. From corporate governance issues and litigation strategy matters to opportunities or challenges in business and international affairs, Salinas possesses a varied background in legal advising, building trust with and providing guidance to clients.

A strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business and legal spheres, Salinas has worked hard to promote connectivity and diversity in corporate America. He established a nonprofit, the California Hispanic Corporate Council, to increase representation and opportunities for Latinas and Latinos in public and private senior management roles. Additionally, he sits on several boards across the nation aimed at elevating marginalized communities, including racial minorities, women, and unsheltered individuals. These efforts, including chairing the Center for Hispanic Health and its mission to help serve East LA’s medically-underserved community through research and improved health conditions, led to him being inducted into the California Minority Counsel Program’s Diversity Leader Hall of Fame.

Salinas’ impact on the Los Angeles community is undeniable. In 2021, Los Angeles Business Journal named him a Leader of Influence and, in 2019, the Hollenbeck Police Activities League of the Los Angeles Police Department recognized his local changemaking efforts, giving him their Humanitarian Award.

Salinas’ experience in international practice and U.S. private sector law exemplify his dedication to collaboration and social impact. Given his evident commitment to civic leadership, we are eager to receive Salinas’ contributions to our organization and its community.
