In 1980, Ambassador Nancy Brinker promised her sister to work tirelessly to find a cure for breast cancer. Since then, she’s founded Susan G. Komen, the world’s largest breast cancer advocacy nonprofit, which has helped reduce breast cancer by 40% over the last 30 years. Today, Ambassador Brinker focuses her efforts on The Promise Fund of Florida, which supports preventative diagnosis of breast cancer among women in South Florida.
