Alex Gorsky, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Johnson & Johnson, has joined the Concordia Leadership Council. With a distinguished career in healthcare and a commitment to leadership and innovation, Mr. Gorsky brings invaluable expertise to Concordia’s mission of fostering cross-sector collaboration to address global challenges.

Mr. Gorsky began his career at Johnson & Johnson in 1988 as a sales representative with Janssen Pharmaceutica. Over the next three decades, he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, and management, culminating in his appointment as CEO and Chairman in 2012. Under his leadership, Johnson & Johnson achieved significant growth and innovation across its Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Health sectors.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Mr. Gorsky served six years in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of captain. He later obtained his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Beyond his role at Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Gorsky serves on the boards of Apple, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Neurotech, and the Travis Manion Foundation.
