Concordia is proud to welcome the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a 2020 Annual Summit Programming Partner. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization and represents the interests of more than three million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions in Washington, D.C.

During the 2020 Annual Summit, Concordia and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Global Initiative on Health and the Economy (GIHE) will lead a discussion targeting the importance of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) on the global health agenda, as well as the launch of the Increasing Social and Economic Benefits report series.

Through a Main Stage panel exploring the global NCD crisis, GIHE will discuss the importance of strengthening health systems to address both communicable and non-communicable diseases going forward. Following this, GIHE will host a Strategic Dialogue session during which attendees can hear from the Increasing Social and Economic Benefits report authors on the findings of the report. An expert panel will also take a deep dive into how to leverage the private sector towards reducing NCDs.
