Concordia is pleased to announce the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) as a 2020 Programming Partner.

The DFC is America’s development bank. Investing in sectors such as energy, healthcare, critical infrastructure, and technology, the DFC is an avid supporter of cross-sector collaboration. Through partnership with private sector organizations, the DFC seeks to positively affect pressing issues impacting the world through financial support.

At the 2020 Annual Summit, a roundtable conversation with top public and private sector impact investors and the DFC’s first Chief Development Officer, Andrew Herscowitz, will explore organizational strategies for prioritizing development impact, from the project level to the portfolio level.

This will build on last month’s W-GDP 2X Americas: Investing in the Future of Women half-day digital event in partnership with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) Initiative, which highlighted women’s economic empowerment as an economic and national security priority, and featured various sessions exploring the role of women’s economic empowerment in driving equitable growth and sustainable development. Under this Programming Partnership, the DFC and Concordia will work toward advancing the strategies of development impact.
