Dear Friends,
As we write this letter, the world is focused on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the consequences of which threaten global security dynamics and have resulted in a humanitarian crisis on a scale not seen in 50 years. With this backdrop, added to the intensifying climate crisis and downstream pandemic implications, it is imperative that we come together as a global community, and that is exactly why we will be hosting the 12th Concordia Annual Summit at the Sheraton Times Square, September 19th – 21st. To be the first to receive updates as our program develops over the coming weeks, please let us know here.
Concordia’s flagship Annual Summit has convened each September since 2011, alongside the UN General Assembly, to address the global landscape and identify opportunities for collaboration and public-private cooperation and partnership. Today, the Concordia Annual Summit is the largest and most inclusive nonpartisan forum, gathering leaders from across the global policy and political spectrum.
Last September, Concordia set a new standard for convening in a COVID era. Appreciating that no technology will ever be a complete substitute for the human-to-human encounter, a hybrid model saw over 650 people come together safely in person in New York City across three days, alongside the many more digitally. This September, Concordia will continue to offer the hybrid platform as we welcome heads of state, international C-suite executives, global nonprofit leaders, senior administration officials, entrepreneurs, students, and artists to promote discourse, establish partnerships, and cement action.
The stakes are high as we approach this global crossroad. Join us and add your voice to the discussions and emerging solutions as we chart a future that places partnership at its core. It is only through connection that we will confront the global challenges of our time in a sustainable manner.
Warm regards,
