If there were ever a time where impact investors could make a difference in society, now is the time. Public policy and governmental efforts have failed to close these gaps and create sustainable solutions, and many are realizing that without the investment and commitment of the private sector, change will continue to be illusory. Answering the call, private funds are stepping up to address how they can leverage the capital they hold to address these society-wide issues. One promising development is the passage of the 2017 Investing in Opportunity Act, which incentivizes investment in “opportunity zones” in every U.S. state. This webinar will feature impact investors actively engaged in opportunity zones around the country.
