Justice for Kurds is a New York-based not-for-profit group that educates and raises public awareness for the Kurdish cause, politics, history, culture and societies in America and abroad. Concordia, Justice for Kurds and The Octavian Report are partnering to host an important conversation surrounding the Kurds’ commitment to democracy and to bring attention to the free, open, and tolerant Kurdish society.

Please join us on October 6th at 11:00am ET to tune into an elevated digital conversation that will raise awareness to recent events that are affecting the Kurdish people’s lives. This Concordia Live will establish meaningful dialogue that advocates for partnership creation and makes a call to action regarding equality and tolerance. 

Concordia is honored to welcome: Bernard-Henri Lévy, French philosopher, activist, filmmaker, and author; Major General Sirwan Barzani, Kurdish military commander of the Kurdistan Region’s commander of Sector 6 in defense of Erbil,  and, Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman,  Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Representative to the United States of America, former Kurdistan Regional Government High Representative to the UK and member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
