Concordia Leadership Award

The Concordia Leadership Award recognizes global leaders within the public, private, and nonprofit sectors who inspire others through their ability to turn vision into impact.

2021 Recipients

Selection of the Recipient

As a direct result of the Leadership Council meeting at the 2019 Annual Summit, Concordia has launched a new nomination process whereby the Leadership Council plays a critical role in the nomination and selection of the recipients.

Nominated anonymously by the entire Concordia Leadership Council, three Leadership Award recipients are then voted on and selected by the Concordia Leadership Leadership Award Committee, also anonymously. This process is chaired and led by Anita McBride, and managed by Concordia’s executive leadership.

The Leadership Award prioritizes individuals who:

  • Have elevated a global challenge that has ignited public-private acknowledgment of inclusive practical solutions.
  • Have a record of nonpartisan partnering experience.
  • Share a commitment to positive social and economic change while promoting effective public-private collaboration to create a more prosperous and sustainable future.
  • Are available to accept the award at one of the Concordia Summits.
