Concordia Co-founder, Matthew Swift, outlines the P3 role in counter-extremism.
Mubin Shaikh shares his experiences pertaining to extremism.

The Internet is used increasingly by extremists of all types to radicalize, recruit, and train followers in disseminating their messages of hate. In a roundtable discussion, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and Concordia brought together Ambassador John D. Negroponte and over 40 of the brightest thinkers around this theme. The event provided a space for a multi-stakeholder dialogue on the spread of extremism via social networks. Google also presented “Networks Against Violent Extremism,” a video series on combating the spread of extremist ideologies among youth. The success and outcomes from this conversation will work towards Concordia’s mission of promoting public-private collaboration.
