The university is currently delivering Afghanistan’s first Masters in Education program in partnership with the Afghan Ministry of Education with funding from the World Bank. Through its Professional Development Institute, AUAF has provided professional development certifications to over 2,000 government employees from thirteen different Afghan ministries and government bodies over the years.
This Google Hangout brought together Dr. Mark English, President of AUAF, Dr. Zaher Wahab, Director of the Masters in Education Program, and Reshad Popal, Executive Director of the Professional Development Institute, who shared with the GPW audience the successful partnerships that are working to improve education for young men & women in Afghanistan.
