Tayo Olosunde is the Founder and Executive Director of Mindthegap (a strategic skill development and job creation social entreprise) with over 19 years combined experience in Human Resources Management, Software Development & usability, Sustainable Development, Public Policy Formulation, Advocacy & Implementation, Corporate Social Investment Management and Enterprise Incubation across Consulting, Banking, IT sectors and Public Sector.
He is currently a Lead Partner on the Google Digital Skills for Africa Programme with a personal mandate to raise 1 million active (youth) economic agents who will innovate, digitize and amplify solutions to pressing socioeconomic needs in their communities by 2030.
With footprints in the Private, Public & Social Sectors, he is a strong believer in the power of collaboration to make massive Socioeconomic, political and environmental changes and with Digital Technology he is facilitating the amazing efforts of the Nigerian Government to aggregate solutions for Job Creation, Youth and National Development through the Nigeria Online Youth Assembly.
His recently published book “Youthnomics” is gradually becoming an Innovation Lab; provoking multi sectoral perspective to African development through Social Entrepreneurship strategies.
Key trend for me is Leveraging Digital Technology to Leapfrogging Africa youth for the Future of Work, how can we solve the internet data cost and position the huge demographic to learn, innovate and grow their career.
