Tatiana will be entering her sophomore year as an undergraduate at Cornell University, majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Business. She joined Concordia as a Partnership Development Intern in June 2018.
Tatiana has worked the past four years at the Leo Zoological Conservation Center, based in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Wellington, Florida. The Leo Conservation Center has implemented breeding programs for high-risk endangered species, along with community-based education series for youth groups in Connecticut and Westchester County. The mission of the organization is to preserve our natural world and inspire others to save the animals of today for the people of tomorrow.
In 2016, Tatiana was appointed to the Greenwich First Selectman’s Youth Commission as a senior delegate. She worked with town officials on a wide range of community issues and assisted in the formation of public policy relating to youth concerns. Tatiana also represented the Greenwich Hispanic/Latino community on the FSYC.
Lastly, Tatiana was the head editor for her school’s Language Literary Magazine, Voices. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Chinese language and culture. She was responsible for editing and organizing the magazine’s layout of artwork, photography, and literary pieces.
