Samuel Matino

Manager, Communications

Sam serves as a Communications Manager at Concordia where he oversees communications strategy, marketing, design, and digital development to build visibility for the organization and its mission. Since joining Concordia in 2017, Concordia has launched initiatives in the Americas, Europe, and Africa, while establishing the Concordia Annual Summit as the largest and most inclusive forum alongside the United Nations General Assembly. Through the launch of the Concordia Membership network, Concordia has connected unlikely parters and fostered innovative partnerships throughout the globe. 

Prior to joining Concordia, Sam worked to establish a nonprofit based in Latin America focused on emergency medical treatment and sustainable healthcare. Working with the policy and advocacy team, Sam worked to craft strategy on engaging local stakeholders and fostering intergovernmental cooperation. Additionally, he consulted with numerous startups and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States on communications and brand strategy, as well as design.

Outside of Concordia, Sam participates in local politics with a passion for community development and sustainability. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Seton Hall University Diplomacy Alumni Association where he serves as the New York City Representative and regularly plans and organizes events and advancement opportunities for alumni throughout the five boroughs. 

Sam graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations as a University Leadership Fellow. Additionally, Sam served in the Student Government Association and as President of the International Law Society at Seton Hall University.
