Siri Scanlon Appel is a Founding Partner of Montfort Advisory.

Siri is also a Founding Partner of C3 Investment Group, a Single Family Office platform focused on long-only public equity, venture, and small/middle-market private equity investments. Current private portfolio holdings are concentrated in the US and Brazil. From 2018 to 2021, she was Director, New Venture Investment and Corporate Development, for Drug Ocean Pharmaceuticals, the subsidiary of a Singapore-based genetic pharmaceuticals manufacturer. She partnered with the CEO for new product development including the construction of a wholly-owned manufacturing facility in Greensboro, NC, and led efforts for portfolio expansion.

Prior to her recent roles, Siri was a vice president at Goldman Sachs, spending eight years in equity derivatives sales and trading, and her final three years at the firm as Head of Sales and Business Development for Marquee, Goldman Sachs’ institutional digital platform. She worked closely with the firm’s corporate VC entity (PSI) to further develop its fintech initiatives. During her tenure at GS, she was selected to serve on the Firmwide Women’s Network Steering Committee and the Women in Computer Science initiatives, as well as a press spokesperson and keynote speaker for in-house and client-sponsored fintech conferences. 

Siri has served as a board member and council member of WOMEN in America, Hive Global Leaders Program, Concordia Summit, and the Migraine Research Foundation.  

She is a graduate of Georgetown University and Columbia Business School. She currently resides in New York City.
