Sarah is a sustainability practitioner moved by helping business drive sustainable development by becoming more competitive. She has 16 years of experience in private and civil sectors and the United Nations, especially in Latin America. She speaks Spanish and English, graduated from the University of Michigan, and lives in the city of Détroit, USA. In her free time, you’ll find her at the gym teaching group fitness classes.
Sarah has spent her career so far building and shaping the field of corporate sustainability at leadership development organization AIESEC, Swiss bank UBS, BSD Consulting, the United Nations Global Compact, and Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose. In 2021 she did the unexpected and joined Philip Morris International. There, she supports the business transformation to accelerate the end of tobacco smoking by engaging with the company’s external partners who influence public opinion and policy, from sustainability organizations to civil society, thought leaders, academics, and more.
