Rob is the Chief Executive Officer of NTELX, a technology services and advisory firm that addresses supply chain resilience and security issues. NTELX has helped public and private sector organizations understand and manage the complex nexus of public-private trade interactions, international logistics systems, and risk management. Rob is a recognized leader in global trade facilitation and security, advising both domestic and international agencies. Rob has 25 years of financial, trade, and organizational development experience and 20 years of developing and delivering projects in the public sector. Rob’s expertise in connecting vision to strategic repositioning and operational restructuring has
helped positively transform companies, NGOs, and government enterprises.

Prior to being named President and CEO, Rob helped found NTELX and was NTELX’s CFO and Managing Director overseeing its Public Sector Solutions branch. Rob and NTELX have shaped trade operations and policy development through advising on and creating tools that have increased our safety while improving the efficiency of trade. NTELX established groundbreaking programs such as:
• The Security and Trade Efficiency Platform (STEP) – A program designed to enhance global trade security requirements with economic efficiency to assist developing countries with capacity building. Piloted in Jamaica and rolled out in the Philippines, the STEP program has been shared regionally in the Caribbean and ASEAN regions.
• PREDICT – The U.S. FDA’s predictive analytics system that risk analyzes and scores imports which now exceed 40 million shipments per year (a 14x improvement over the prior approach).
• Log-X – A DARPA program developing a new paradigm for supply chain and logistics information awareness for the Department of Defense.

Rob is also a Non-Resident Fellow at the Stimson Center, where he has been a thought leader on the changing paradigm of global supply chains. He has authored multiple articles on the topic, including recent publications in The Hill. Rob was a member of the Stimson Center’s policy task force on global trade security chaired by Jay Cohen (RADM, USN, Ret) entitled, “Partners in Prevention: Making Public-Private Security Cooperation More Efficient, Effective and Sustainable”. Rob further serves as a member of the Board and Chair of the Investment and Audit Committee of iMMAP. iMMAP is an international non-profit organization that delivers information management solutions in extremely challenging humanitarian environments in areas with critical needs.

Before joining NTELX, Rob held finance, acquisitions, and asset management positions at two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Goldman Sachs: Archon Group (now Goldman Sachs Realty Services) and Goldman Sachs Realty Japan. Rob graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Political Science and Organizational Behavior and Management (’94).
