Dr. Robert H Miller is a leading expert in the development and deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles. He is currently the CEO of Skydweller. Skydweller is a US company with offices in Spain and the US. It is developing the world’s first true commercial solar-powered drone.
Skydweller’s Solar Drones have significantly more payload than other solar-powered aircraft. Skydweller will be the first drone capable of Perpetual Flight with true economic utility.
Prior to Skydweller he founded Parry Labs a developer and integrator of special capabilities serving the US national security industry.
Other previous roles include CTO and board member at AME Unmanned Air Systems/ Chandler May (now Lockheed Martin Unmanned Integrated Systems) where he helped grow the company into a world-class small UAV provider delivering over 3000 Desert Hawks to LM and the UK MoD and providing the lionshare of the US Army One Station as a supplier to Textron.
Prior to that, he was Director for Future Unmanned System at Northrop Grumman where he also held a variety of other positions on a variety of UAV programs.
Dr. Miller has a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Aerospace and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
