Rita serves as a Senior Manager in Concordia’s Communications Department, where she oversees content and media relations for the organization. With responsibility for establishing Concordia’s “voice”, she produces written content for all external-facing materials, including the website, email campaigns, reports, articles, newsletters, and marketing decks, ensuring messaging is consistent, compelling, and impactful. She oversees Concordia’s communications strategies with its partners, including global nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and governments. She also manages press and media, including building and maintaining relationships with leading global journalists, pitching stories, writing press releases, and providing content for media partnerships.
Prior to joining Concordia in August 2017, Rita worked as a Writer & Editor at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, both in London and New York City, where she delivered writing and editorial support to the retail and institutional businesses. She has also worked for Generation Investment Management LLP in London, a leading sustainable investment firm founded by former US Vice President Al Gore.
Originally from London, Rita holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Leeds.
