Richard Collier-Keywood is Network Vice Chairman an appointment he took up towards end of 2011. In this role Richard leads the Network Executive Team for PwC internationally.
Prior to this, Richard was Vice-Chairman for Global Tax, and the Managing Partner of the UK firm, appointments he took up on 1 July 2008. Richard led the UK firm’s tax practice for five years from 2003.
In his current role, Richard is responsible for corporate responsibility globally and is a passionate believer in the importance of ensuring that decisions are taken holistically, considering societal and environmental as well as financial issues. A lot of time in his current role is spent in emerging territories including India, China and Africa. He is a trustee of a number of voluntary organisations, including the School for Social Entrepreneurs and Mango.
Richard is a trained barrister and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, starting his career in tax in 1984 and was admitted as a partner in the UK firm in 1992.
