Rafiq Masri is a Palestinian-American entrepreneur in the information technology industry. His commitment to creating jobs and improving the standard of living in Palestine lead him to establish the Palestinian Economic Development Foundation (PalEco). Rafiq serves on the board of numerous organizations and is also leading a major online project to preserve historic Palestine manuscripts, art and photography.

The owner and president of Network Management, Inc. (NMI) (est. 1994), Rafiq has more than 25 years experience in the IT Management field and has successfully grown NMI into one of the Washington, D.C. metro area’s leading IT service providers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and has completed post graduate studies in business and software engineering at both Harvard and George Mason Universities.

Rafiq was born in Nablus, raised in Kuwait and immigrated to the United States in 1979. Through his extensive professional network of associates, international business leaders, financial institutions, think tanks and government connections, Rafiq works to revitalize the Palestinian economy and help in the process of rebuilding Gaza. Rafiq believes an emphasis on empowering Palestinian free enterprise and providing opportunities for the enormous number of young people there is crucial to building a peaceful, unified, sustainable nation that secures its own future without endless reliance on outside assistance.

From our headquarters in Washington, D.C., PalEco strives to support the Palestinian private sector by working to create jobs and improve the standard of living. This is done by engaging the Palestinian Diaspora, advancing innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging international trade, supporting Made-in-Palestine products, facilitating investment and ultimately creating a vibrant business environment.
