Radha Friedman is social impact strategist with over 20 years experience in gender equality and philanthropy. As founder and SheO of an advisory firm working to increase gender equality, she is on a mission to encourage investing in women and girls, especially women and girl of color, women with disabilities and women who are LGBTQ. Radha has advised some of the largest foundations in the world, including advising the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on their gender equality strategy and the Clinton Global Initiative’s Network on Women & Girls Economic Empowerment. Her work has engaged Nobel Prize laureates including the Dalai Lama, Shirin Ebadi, and Mary Robinson, as well as luminaries such as Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sakena Yakoobi. Radha was a co-founder and deputy director of the Landesa Center for Women’s Land Rights (winner of the largest humanitarian prize in the world), and advises the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund with global advocate Kristen Bell. She has been named a fellow by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, American Express Foundation, Independent Sector, Henry M. Jackson Foundation, and the Global Women’s Leadership Network. Radha has been featured in Forbes, The Guardian, Alliance and Foreign Policy Magazine.
