Program Manager, Global Fund to End Modern Slavery

Nic Ballou is a Program Manager at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery where she supports the Fund’s grant portfolio management and grantee relationships. She oversees the Fund’s migration and ethical recruitment work in India and Bangladesh. Before joining the Fund, Nic worked as the Grants Research and Reporting Officer at Challenging Heights, an anti-trafficking organization in Ghana where she developed child rights programming, child trafficking prevention activities, and monitoring and evaluation projects. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Masters in Global Inclusion and Social Development and concentration in Modern Slavery, Human Rights, and Forced Labor. With a background in inclusion and social development, Nic brings a commitment to collaboration and partnership in her work as a Program Manager. Nic holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
