As Capital One Commercial Banking President, Mr. Slocum oversees multiple broad lines of business, including Commercial Real Estate, Middle Market Banking, Commercial & Specialty Finance, Private Banking, Wealth and Asset Management, and Treasury Services. He also serves as the company’s Northeast Regional President.
With more than 2,100 associates, Capital One Commercial Banking generates over $2B in annual revenue with more than $55B in loan commitments and over $30B in deposit balances. Mr. Slocum joined Capital One in 2007 after almost two decades at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) and predecessor banks. His experience spans both Commercial and Retail Banking.
Mr. Slocum is an active member of the community and is currently an Executive Committee member on the Safe Horizon board. He also serves on the boards of Enterprise Community Partners, the New York City Investment Fund and The Jewish Museum.
Mr. Slocum holds an Economics degree from Colgate University.
