Marco was appointed Minister of Finance of Honduras in August 2020, promising to help save companies, save jobs and take care of people’s pockets. Prior to that, he served as Minister of the Office of Presidential Priorities and Public Innovation of Honduras, promoting Digital Government to create a more agile, transparent and efficient administration. He has served as the Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL), and as a Minister of Youth for the Government of Honduras. He was born in La Ceiba, Honduras and is a Law graduate from the Catholic University of Honduras, where he graduated with Honors. He also holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.
