Civil Engineer from the University of the Andes, with a Master’s Degree in Transportation Infrastructure from the same University. Doctorate Cum Laude in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning and Transport Systems at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has been involved in various projects and research that studies long and short term decisions on the management of urban areas, seeking to balance and articulate the complex system of relationships and interests that are established between the needs of mobility, location of activities and equity. Professor of the University of the Andes in transport and urban planning. Director of the Urban and Regional Sustainability Group, SUR. Advisor and consultant in different urban transport projects in Colombia. Consultant of the World Bank, advisor of the Institute of Urban Development in topics of value capture instruments for the financing of transport infrastructures. Advisor to the District Planning Department of Bogotá in the reformulation of the Land Management Plan. Author of several articles published in international journals related to the evaluation of transport policies, poverty, equity and urban structure.
