Mr. Gómez holds a Geography and History B.A. from La Rochelle University in France, a M.A. and PhD in Political Science both from the Paris Institute of Political Studies – Sciences Po Paris.
His professional curriculum includes several positions as an expert in public policy analysis. He has served as a consultant both for international and national Government entities such as the Organization of American States (OAS), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Ministry of Interior, the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, amongst other.
Currently, he serves as the Director for Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Policies at the National Planning Department of Colombia. From this position, he acts as the Technical Secretary of the SDG Commission.
