Kate Olsen advises purpose-driven clients on how to develop strategies and integrated engagement campaigns that build brands, drive organizational goals, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and advance stakeholder capitalism and sustainable development aims. She also provides strategic counsel to C-suite leaders on how to develop thought leadership and shape conversations at convenings such as the World Economic Forum. Kate spearheads the Social Impact practice’s thought leadership, is an editor for the Social Impact Insider newsletter and contributes regularly to Purpose Decoded on Medium. She serves on PRWeek’s Purpose Council and has also been a featured speaker at convenings such as the Borsa Italiana (now part of Euronext) annual Sustainability Day and regularly guest lectures to graduate students at Georgetown University and other institutions on stakeholder capitalism, sustainability and cause marketing. Prior to joining the agency, Kate led strategic growth projects at Network for Good, a leading digital giving platform and practiced public-private partnership development with The United Way of Greater Los Angeles and The U.S. Agency for International Development. Kate started her career at the Boston Consulting Group, where she worked with luminary thinker George Stalk Jr. on innovation-related projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and French Literature from Bryn Mawr College, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
