Jonathan Greenblatt

National Director, Anti-Defamation League

A social entrepreneur with extensive experience in the public and private sectors, Mr. Greenblatt has served as Special Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation & Civic Participation since 2011. In this role, he has directed the Administration’s strategies on national service, civic engagement, social finance and impact investing.

A graduate of Tufts University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, he is the grandson of a Holocaust survivor who escaped from Nazi Germany. He has had a lifelong commitment to Jewish social causes, and his relationship to ADL started with a college internship and continued with his participation in an ADL professional leadership program.
