Helena Herrero

Helena is currently President and CEO of HP for Spain and Portugal. She joined HP in 1982 and since 2002 served as Vice President. In 2012 she was appointed President and CEO of HP for Spain and Portugal. 

Helena is a member of the Board of Directors of Naturgy and the Wamos Group, and chairs the I + E Innovation Spain Foundation. Patron of the Cotec Foundation for Innovation and the Princess of Girona Foundation. She is a member of the APD Board of Directors as well as the Business Action Council of the CEOE and member of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain.

Vice President of Amcham, member of the Board of Directors of the American Business Council and of the Spain-US Council Foundation. It also forms part of different governing bodies and committees, among which are the Advisory Board of the General CSIC Foundation and the Science, Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Executive Committee of the IESE Alumni and the Board of Trustees. of Junior Achievement.

She has received several awards, among which are the “Personality of the Year” by Byte magazine and “Executive of the Year” both by the Executive magazine and by FEDEPE and “Female Directive” by the Madrid Woman’s Week Foundation. In addition, he has received the EVAP Professionalism Award, People Management Award from the Spanish Association of HR Directors, and the “Anque 2018” award by the National Association of Chemical and Chemical Engineers of Spain. 

Helena was born in Madrid, is married and is the mother of two children. She has a degree in Chemistry and has post-graduate studies in Management from INSEAD and IESE.
