Heiko Schipper is a member of the Board of Management of Bayer AG and President of the Consumer Health Division.
Heiko is a Dutch national, with a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
He joined Bayer from Nestlé where he worked for over twenty years in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently leading the global Infant Nutrition Division and being a member of the Executive Board.
Heiko Schipper started his career at Heineken in 1994. He joined Nestlé as an international marketing trainee in 1996, developing his career in sales and marketing management roles in Bangladesh and Indonesia and at the company’s global headquarters in Switzerland. He then took up general management roles of increasing importance in the Philippines and, from 2007 to 2013, in the Greater China Region with the aim of developing Nestlé’s position in this key market. In 2013, Heiko moved back to Switzerland to become Global Business Head, Infant Nutrition, before being appointed to the Nestlé Group Executive Board in October 2014.
Heiko is married with three children. He is based at Consumer Health’s global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
