Genevieve Taft-Vazquez

Genevieve Taft-Vazquez is Global Director, Workplace Accountability at The Coca-Cola Company. The Global Workplace Rights department oversees the implementation of the Company’s human and workplace rights expectations throughout the value chain. Genevieve is based in Washington DC and her role is focused on providing strategy, governance and policy oversight and support to the global team. She works with external stakeholders and peer companies to develop partnerships.
Genevieve has spent much of her career working in the area of corporate sustainability, responsible sourcing and the intersection between business and human rights from a range of perspectives. Before joining Coca-Cola, she worked at a civil society organization, the Fair Labor Association, overseeing their regional activities in the Americas and focusing on a brand accreditation program. Additionally, she worked in Bolivia with a fair-trade artisan organization to improve operational capacity and to develop market opportunities in Japan and the US. Prior to that, she worked for Gap Inc in the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility department.

Genevieve holds a MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as well as a MA from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She completed her bachelor’s degree at Yale University.
