Lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a specialization in Business Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and an MBA from the Prime Business School from the Sergio Arboleda University.
He has 20 years of experience in telecommunications and public services sector and used to held the Legal Vice Presidency in Telecom, then the General Secretary of Colombia Telecomunicaciones, and the Legal Vice Presidency of the Telefónica Group in Colombia. Before occupying the Presidency, he serve as Public Affairs and Regulation Vice President. At Telefónica, he worked in the capitalization and merger process of the landline and mobile phone operations that ended in 2012. Then he assumed Regulatory, Social Management and Fundación responsibilities for the entire group in Colombia. He developed the Sustainability Plan (Responsible Business Plan) and public positioning of the operation, in addition to accompanying and developing the company’s business plans from a strategic and operational point of view.
