Erin Burnett anchors “Erin Burnett OutFront”, a nightly news program airing weeknights at 7 PM ET on CNN.

Most recently, Erin covered the release of American POW Bowe Bergdahl from Doha, Qatar. She also covered the Iranian Presidential elections from Tehran and hosted CNN’s documentary “The Truth About Benghazi”.

Outfront has broadcast live from across the United States and around the world, including Afghanistan, Israel, the UAE and the border of Northern Mali. In her broadcast from a Malian refugee camp, Erin reported on the rise of Al Qaeda linked groups in North Africa and the human toll of occupation. She also reported on terror financing from the Gulf.

Erin joined CNN from the NBC News family where she covered the Egyptian Revolution, the Nigerian underwear bomber and received an Emmy nomination for an investigative report on American chemical giant Transammonia’s business with Iran.
