Elizabeth Roscoe is the Executive Director of the Western Union Foundation, a global organization that supports education and disaster relief efforts as pathways to a better future. From its headquarters in Colorado, the Foundation has donated USD $134 million to fund projects transforming lives across the globe.  Under Elizabeth’s leadership the Foundation has been connecting migrants and refugees to the global economy through the power of education and development. 

In 2018, Elizabeth was appointed as Board Member for the Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative, an international NGO focused on promoting peace across the planet, helping societies impacted by destructive conflicts transform into safer and more prosperous communities.

Elizabeth was previously the head of Global Product Marketing and Communications for Western Union Payments which offers WU services to global non-profit organizations, multi-laterals, governments, small businesses and educational institutions. NGO GlobalPay, for example, provides foreign exchange and international payment services to over 1000 NGOs globally, making it possible to deliver funds to some of the most isolated parts of the world.  

In Elizabeth’s 20 plus years of experience as a marketer and non-profit leader, she has led and advised successful global teams focused on employee engagement, governance, efficacy and public relations. Prior to joining Western Union, Elizabeth oversaw marketing for American Express, PepsiCo and Nestle, among other well-known brands. 

Born in Wales, Elizabeth has lived in the UK, Netherlands, Austria and United States. Her education includes a BA and MSc from the University of Manchester in the UK, and an international diploma from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. She has also completed the High Potentials Leadership Program through Harvard Business School Executive Education.
