Edgars Rinkevics is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. He attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces of the US National Defence University and received a Master’s Degree from the University of Latvia and a Master’s Degree in Political Science at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
Minister Rinkevics began his career as a journalist specializing in the foreign policy issues and international relations. He has held various positions in government including Minister of Defense of the Republic of Latvia and head of the President’s Chancellery.
