Dozy Mmobuosi is a distinguished technology entrepreneur and advocate for technological advancement and social upliftment in Africa and beyond. He is the Founder/CEO of two prominent US corporations, Tingo, Inc., Africa’s leading Agri-Fintech company and Tingo International Holdings, Inc. (TIH) an investment firm focused on identifying and making targeted acquisitions in the technology sector. Tingo, Inc. is a leading technology and device-as-a-service platform aimed at accelerating digital commerce in Africa.

Dozy, founded Tingo Mobile PLC in 2001 and has vast global experience in south-east Asia, China, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, USA and the UK.

Dozy has been an adviser to several large corporate organisations, steering the strategy and design of business plans (investments, acquisition, and organic growth) into new global markets. He has also directed significant operating growth of Tingo across three continents.

Dozy’s business and philanthropic endeavours are influenced by several global challenges including Climate Change and Food Security. Dozy is also passionate about the social upliftment targets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. At the heart of Tingo is the ethos to provide an opportunity for Africa to be a core focal point to tackle some of these pressing topics.

In December 2021, Dozy launched the Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation, aiming to support Africans across multiple sectors including education, healthcare, technological skills upliftment and to also facilitate social empowerment by solving key structural challenges present on the continent.

Dozy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Master of Science degree in Economics from Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria. He also holds a doctorate in Rural Advancement from Universiti Putra Malaysia. In March 2022, he completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
