Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown first joined IBM in 2006 as a Consultative Representative in the IBM Information Management Brand and Threat Prediction & Prevention solution unit. In this role, he worked with leaders across the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Intelligence Community to harness big data and analytics to address pressing mission and business initiatives in law enforcement, intelligence, insider threats, continuous evaluation and vetting, and counterterrorism. Chris has helped implement some of the United States Government’s most crucial vetting and counter terrorism missions. He is still very active in helping support those missions.

Chris now serves as World Wide Strategic Mission Advisor & Client Advocate in the IBM Safer Planet / Security Solutions Unit, a role in which he brings to bear IBM’s substantial expertise and capabilities in Intelligence and Law Enforcement to support Government leaders in plotting the path to mission optimization. In this role, he also serves as a key client advocate to ensure IBM brings the best possible resources and capabilities from across the company to address clients’ challenges.

Chris is currently leading the Safer Borders Initiative, which concentrates on Immigration, human trafficking, and other issues around border security.
