Cecilia is the Founder and Managing Director of G&C Chemicals a company which manufactures and sells detergents. Born on 3 January 1981 in a family of 4 Cecilia is the second born. She holds an Honours Degree in Marketing from National University of Science and Technology and a Master in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University in the UK. She has over 17 years’ experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry having started her career at Dairibord Zimbabwe. Her work experience was mainly in sales and marketing and she also managed to work in different countries in the region. Her drive for entrepreneurship started when she worked for a start up company which was in the beverages industry. She managed to grow the company and also penetrated regional markets and this gave her confidence that she could run her own company successfully. Cecilia founded G&C Chemicals in 2017 , the company manufactures both household and Industrial detergents which it distributes to retailers and wholesalers, institutions also form a big chunk of the customers. Her vision is to grow the company and start supplying major retail outlets and also penetrate regional markets. Cecilia is married to Gerald and they have 3 children.
