Byron joined Concordia in May 2018 as a Summit Programming Associate to help recruit global thought leaders to participate in Concordia’s Annual Summits.
Prior to joining Concordia, Byron worked in Cape Town, South Africa, helping to protect the legal rights of citizens and recent immigrants as part of the Legal Rights Centre. Byron was also based in Khayelitsha, working to improve the educational opportunities through enforcement of constitutional law as part of the Equal Education Law Centre, and in Muizenberg with the Equal Education Law Centre.
Byron graduated from New York University, Gallatin School in 2012 with a degree in European and American History. He subsequently attended the University of Edinburgh where he received both a Masters in Science in International Relations and a Masters in Law in Human Rights Law.
