Brian Wayne is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of CurvePoint Capital, an investment firm focused on structured capital in growth stage climate and energy transition solutions. He leverages nearly two decades of diverse experience across alternative investments, climate finance and corporate strategy.
Prior to founding CurvePoint, Brian was the co-founder of the Aegon Climate Capital at Aegon Asset Management, a global insurance-owned asset manager with approx. $350 billion in AUM. Brian joined Aegon in 2017 to lead the development and commercialization of numerous global investment businesses, with a specific emphasis on sustainability and impact-related solutions and was the co-chair of Aegon’s US Social Responsibility Committee.
Before Aegon, Brian spent a decade at Congress Asset Management investing across private equity, private credit, and venture capital and was head of product strategy, deploying in excess of $1 billion in capital.
In addition to founding CurvePoint, Brian also is the co-founder of The Water Genome. A 501(c)3 non-profit impact studio that focuses on identifying and catalyzing water technologies to solve health and climate resilience issues.
Brian is a member of The Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle, an expert advisor at AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles, and a business mentor and advisor to several national sustainability programs. He holds a BSBA from Thomas Edison State University and an MBA from The University of Massachusetts.
